For anyone interested in culture and leadership, Sheridan has to be on your radar. Menlo Innovations may be small, but this is a special place as worthy of study as any of the bigger modern (and mostly tech) firms. If anything, for anyone who operates in a smaller organization, his work is that much more relevant due to those differences in scale. I’ve written about some of my favorite topics here and here. Don’t be like me and ignore this work because “joy” sounds like some cheesy, kool-aid, BS messaging. It’s not, give it a shot.
