Derek Sivers spoke with Shane Parish on The Knowledge Project podcast and did not disappoint. He’s got an incredible mind for simplification and explanation. If you don’t know him, he is a musician turned startup founder/operator (CD Baby was his baby). He’s since sold the company but continues to be extremely entrepreneurial, all around the world. Some of the concepts discussed include: imitate or innovate, ideas and execution, and why there is no failure until you give up. Sivers is a remarkable human, there are a million and one lessons in this conversation. Give it a listen.
I’ve written about Sivers before too. See this post on how addresses work around the world, and why it’s a handy metaphor for helping us communicate ideas.
