Scott Galloway makes the point (amongst many) that being in the zone is happiness. We should know where it is for ourselves and how we get there.
The only thing writing or creating costs me is time. It can be frustrating, non-productive and even haunting, but that’s the contrast against the absolute highs of reaching a breakthrough, seeing something emerge, and playing with the idea in my head hours, days, or years later.
The Algebra of Happiness is a kick in the ass. Galloway’s got perspective and witnessing him apply it to life, love and family – in his unmistakable voice – is a gift.
