Critical Thinking Vs. Acrylic Thinking
When you’re thinking critically, you’re thinking in math, and logic, and layers. You’re unpacking what’s in front of you to deconstruct it.
Critical thinking is about breaking an idea down logically to move forward.
When you’re thinking acrylicly (a word I just made up), you’re thinking in emotion, and feeling, and visual layers. You’re building up what’s in front of you to construct a creation of some form.
Acrylic thinking is about building up a layered feeling to psychologically move forward.
You need both.
Critical thinking for the facts, acrylic thinking for the feelings.
If you can apply both together, well, that’s the art and science of productive decision-making.
