Good Intentions: Our Single Greatest Untapped Resource

You don’t complain about stuff. Uh uh, not you. Me neither. We’re do-er’s. Well, most of the time.

I’ve heard Scott Galloway reference this quote a few times and finally looked it up. It’s about taking those thoughts (including our complaints, nags, and deep sighs) and thinking of them as a resource to be harnessed.

Listen to this poetry from Cindy Gallup (emphasis added):

I have a low tolerance for people who complain about things but never do anything to change them. This led me to conclude that the single largest pool of untapped natural resources in this world is human good intentions that are never translated into actions.

Amen sister.

Less complaining, more changing.

If we can harness even a few drops of those precious good intentions and put them to work, we can make all the difference in the world.
