Kareem Abdul Jabar On Sticking To What You’re Good At

Kareem’s the NBA’s all-time leading scorer with 38,387 points.

Of those points, he attempted eighteen 3-point shots.

Of those eighteen attempts, one went in.

2-pointers compound nicely. He didn’t have to deviate. And on the rare occasion he did, it didn’t work out so well.

We all need to spice it up a little from time to time and take our equivalent 3-pointers, whatever they may be.

But once we know what works, we should be like Kareem, and make our 2-pointers over, and over, and over again.

Ps. jump to about 1:30 in and hear him tell the story. How could you not adore this man?
