Less Time To Worry, More Time To Live

“But life is very short and anxious for those who forget the past, neglect the present, and fear the future.” Seneca

It’s only a scary world/job/market/decision/etc. if we let it be one. The alternative is we accept it as it is.

The past led up to today. The present is happening right now, no matter what we do. The future will unfold, and we can shape some aspect of it if we try. Not all of it, but some aspect.

The nature of giving advice is lengthening life – reducing anxiety by drawing on lessons learned from the past, assessing the present, and applying them to the future.

Less time to worry = more time to live. Not a bad trade-off.
