Piggy Bank Smashing

It’s so weird - 

You can smash the piggy bank for something you’re excited about and it’s ok. 

But if you have to smash the piggy bank for something you’re not excited for it sucks. 

Remember the little rubber plug at the bottom of the piggy bank? 

There’s that option too. 

Makes you wonder,

When you’re ready to break free, in the good ways, it’s a good time to smash the piggy bank to take the action. Kind of a no looking back commitment. A burning of the boats moment. 

But when you’re eating some pain, in the bad/hard/no-fun ways, it’s good to just pull the stopper onthe piggy bank and take what you need. Kind of a reminder you’ll get back to saving. A shred of optimism that you can refill it later. 

It’s a story. There’s a pattern at play here. The better you understand why the money went in, how it’s coming out, and what next - the better your odds of finding how to make it a good story.
