Bert Kreischer’s standup joke, “The Machine” was (still is?) a viral sensation. It’s less a joke and more a crazy personal story about hacking the college course system, partying with Russian gangsters, criminal activities, and even a few hints that he eventually somewhat matured later in life. Kreischer talks all about the joke on the Good One Podcast. He tells the stories behind the stories and goes deep into the iterations the joke went through over years (!) before breaking his career.
