Progress Requires Unlearning
James Clear says, “progress requires unlearning.” Let that seep in.
If we want to do something new or have someone else try something new (hello work/life applications), chances are there’s something old to unlearn first.
We’ve got to make room in the cabinet. Throw some of the old stuff out. Rearrange what needs to be kept accordingly.
We’ll still need to learn new things too. But some of those new things have a shelf life. Progress depends on our willingness and ability to read those labels. Progress requires unlearning.
