Sunday Music: By Definition, There Can’t Be A Billion Wilburys

I’m late to the party, but I finally worked through the third season of Billions. No spoilers, but there’s a logical progression that starts with The Beatles, and then follows George Harrison’s career into rock super-group The Traveling Wilburys. For any music nerd, it’s pure joy.

They reference a story that Tom Petty and Bob Dylan would play a game, looking at other celebrities and deciding if they were of Wilbury status.

It’s one thing to be famous and successful, it’s a whole other thing to be a Wilbury.
