Sunday Music: Rick Ross “Act A Fool”

I have a thing for the measured slowness of Rick Ross’ flow. I guess I missed “Act a Fool (feat. Wale)” when it came out, but I stumbled across it a few weeks ago and it’s such a vibe. Its tempo and rhythm, vibrating with his “I’m going to unapologetically make this statement for profit,” while those who don’t get it are acting as fools – you get it. 

Here’s the album cut, and I’m extra moth-to-streetlamped watching him do this (kind of ridiculous?) live version where I should be annoyed he’s rapping over the whole track, but I’m somehow not because of how he performs it. And, as an additional bonus – if you missed his Tiny Desk with the live band, is a ton of fun.
