The Expert’s Curse

The expert’s curse is when a person knows sooooo much about a topic they forget normal people barely know anything about it.

But it’s only a curse if the expert doesn’t know how to simplify and communicate. 

The expert’s blessing, which is far more valuable, is when a  person knows so much about a topic they care to make the most useful parts of it understandable to whoever could benefit from the information.
