Useful And Accurate Are Two Different (And VERY Important) Things

Useful and accurate are two different things. 

Sometimes ideas are dismissed because they aren’t accurate. 

But inaccuracy doesn’t always translate to unuseful. 

Myths and stories and everything make-believe aren’t accurate. But just because they aren’t scientific sound doesn’t mean they aren’t useful. 

Sometimes the least accurate depictions of reality are the most useful depictions of the human condition.*

There’s math and magic, spreadsheet and story, useful and accurate – everywhere. Differentiate and use what you need to, to accomplish what you need to.
