What Does “Creatively-Minded” Mean?
I’ve been wrestling with defining “creatively-minded” for something I’m working on.
My current thinking goes like this:
If you’re creatively minded you realize most people want to put you in a box.
But you don’t want to be in the box.
You don’t want cookie cutter, and you don’t want to be treated like a one-size-fits-all problem. This is the inception of creativity.
You start thinking outside the borders of the box, in some (any!) way.
The most creatively-minded people are even willing to create their own box, trick it out, and show it off in front of the original box.
I like working with creatively-minded people for a reason. What do you think – does this make sense? Am I missing anything?
Ps. it’s not just contrarian, creative implies productive here.
