Why Is Writing So Hard?

Writing is hard because you always think it can be better, clearer, or… something else.

In some weird way, it’s what makes writing easy too. 

Because it always can be better, clearer, or something else. 

Sometimes you just have to ship it. Let it go. Press publish. Close the loop. Declare “done.”

And then start again.

The hard never goes away. There’s always another edit. We just get better at wrestling the resistance. 

Spot the tension, make it resolve, repeat.
