Your Process = Your Armor

Les Snead, GM for the Los Angeles Rams, told Ryan Holiday to “Let your process be your armor.” We all have our critics. Here’s how a pro handles his.

When the media gets onto what they think he’s doing right or wrong, he’s only human. Stuff can get to a person.

But they’re doing their job, and he’s doing his.

The reporters have their process (they need something to talk about), and he has his (managing his team, inherently providing material for them to talk about).

Snead may not be able to totally ignore what the critics are saying, so he stays focused on why he’s doing what he’s doing, and he gets on with it.

Your process = your armor.
