What's The Universe (Really) Trying To Tell You?

When I introduced Justin Castelli to Adam Bruderly, I didn't know it would almost lead to a business deal.

They shared overlapping interests and perspectives on trauma and growth - Adam as a 9/11 survivor, Justin as a self-described Midwesterner who doesn't think his worst day was "really all that bad." I knew they'd have an interesting conversation, but I didn't expect them to seriously consider merging their firms.

Originally, I invited Justin back on Just Press Record for a solo episode to play him a Mark McCartney clip. What unfolded was the story of his journey with Adam since their introduction.

Justin openly follows universal signs and combines long-term optimism with short(er)-term flexibility. Mark's story about experiencing "scratchiness" and declining a prestigious, high-paying job resonated deeply with Justin.

He explained why the potential deal with Adam, despite their immediate connection and future friendship, wasn't aligned with his path forward.

I'm learning to trust these kinds of signals too. While I used to dismiss them as imagination, I'm increasingly open to following my pattern-matching instincts. People like Justin and Mark inspire me with how they process this information.
