The World Is A Museum

Or at least New York is, if you're Digable Planets

This line stopped me mid-chores the other morning, maybe because I’ve been thinking a lot about just how much life is amazing if you stop and look at it lately.

In no small part thanks to my grandparents. This note I wrote, about my Poppop, is still heavily occupying my mind. The special ceremony we held for my Dad’s mom is right there too. Curiosity counts. The world needs more of it.

On “Pacifics,” the Digable Planets line (Butterfly’s specifically) is,

New York is a museum with its posters and graffiti

All I can think is, it’s not just New York, it’s the whole world.

You can label or define it however you like. Why not think of it as a museum? Why not not think of it as a dirty old city?
